1. Rear bumper beam assembly


Repair procedures
Replacement
   
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
   
Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
1.
Remove the rear bumper cover.
(Refer to Rear Bumper - "Rear Bumper Assembly")
2.
Disconnect the rear bumper beam mounting wiring harness (A).

3.
Remove the rear smart key antenna (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

4.
Disconnect the exension wiring mounting clip (A).

5.
Remove the rear bumper beam assembly (A) after loosening the mounting clips.

6.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
   
Make sure the connector is connected properly.
Replace any damaged clips.
