| Removal |
| 1. | Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 2. | Open the tailgate. |
| 3. | Loosen the high mounted stop lamp mounting nuts (A).

| 4. | Disconnect the washer nozzle (A) and high mounted stop lamp connector (B). |
| 5. | Remove the high mounted stop lamp (C).

| Installation |
| 1. | Connect the washer nozzle and high mounted stop lamp connector. |
| 2. | Install the high mounted stop lamp. |
| 3. | Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
Repair procedures Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the license lamp assembly (A) after pressing the locking pin.

Repair procedures Removal 1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2.Remove the main crash pad assembly. (Refer to Body - "Main Crash Pad Assembly") 3.Disconnect the connector of the immobilizer unit and then remove the immobilizer unit (A) after loosening a bolt.
Repair procedures Inspection Multifunction Switch Inspection 1. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position as shown below. Rear Wiper & Washer Switch[LHD] [RHD] Inspection (With KDS/GDS) 1. In the body electrical system, failure can be quickly diagnosed by using the vehicle diagnostic system (KDS/GDS).
