Repair procedures

Inspection
1.
Remove the air cleaner element.
2.
Check that the air filter is excessively dirty.
If the air filter is excessively dirty, replace the air cleaner element.
3.
If the air cleaner element needs to be cleaned, blow compressed air as shown in the illustration to clean it.
[Kappa 1.0 MPI, 1.2 MPI, 1.0 FFV]

Be careful with the direction of the compressed air on the air cleaner.
4.
Reinstall the air cleaner element.
Replacement
[Kappa 1.0 MPI, 1.2 MPI, 1.0 FFV]
1.
Separate the air duct by unlocking the air duct clamp (A).

2.
Replace the air cleaner element (A) with a new one.

3.
Install the air duct.
[Kappa 1.0 T-GDI]
1.
Open the air cleaner element cover (A) by unlocking the clamp.

2.
Unlock the air cleaner element camshaft (A) by turning in the direction of arrow.

3.
Replace the air cleaner element (A) with a new one.

   
Grab the handle (B) then pull out the air cleaner element.
4.
Close the service cover by hooking the clamp.

    Repair procedures Inspection Automatic Transaxle Fluid (ATF) Level Check 1. Place the vehicle on a level ground. 2. Start the engine to warm up the ATF.
