Repair procedures

Replacement
1.
Loosen the front door checker (A) mounting bolt.
Tightening torque :
19.6 - 29.4 N·m (2.0 - 3.0 kgf·m,14.5 - 21.7 lb·ft)

2.
Detach the clips, and then remove the front door side weatherstrip (A).

3.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
   
Replace any damaged clips.

    Repair procedures Replacement    Put on gloves to protect your hands.    • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.

    Repair procedures Removal    • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries. • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
