| Inspection |

| 1. | Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 2. | Remove the front door trim.
(Refer to Body - "Front Door Trim")

| 3. | Remove the front door trim seal.
(Refer to Body - "Front Door Window Glass")
|
| 4. | Disconnect the connector (A) from the motor.
|
| 5. | Connect
the motor terminals directly to battery voltage (12V) and check that
the motor operates smoothly. Next, reverse the polarity and check that
the motor operates smoothly in the reverse direction. If the operation
is abnormal, replace the motor. [Standard window motor]

| 4. | Disconnect the motor connector (A) from the motor.

| 5. | Connect the motor terminals No.1 and No.2 directly to battery voltage (12V) and check that the motor operates smoothly. If the operation is abnormal, replace the motor.

Repair procedures Inspection 1.With the washer motor connected to the reservoir tank, fill the reservoir tank with water. Before filling the reservoir tank with water, check the filter for foreign material or contamination.
Repair procedures Replacement 1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2.Remove the heater unit. (Refer to Heater - "Heater Unit") 3.Remove the heater core cover (A) after loosening the mounting screws. 4.Pull out the heater core (A) from the heater unit.
