Kia Picanto (JA): Light bulbs / Map lamp bulb replacement
WARNING
Prior to working on the Interior lamps, ensure that the “OFF” button is depressed to avoid burning your fingers or receiving an electric shock.
1. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, gently pry the lens cover from lamp housing.
2. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight out.
3. Install a new bulb in the socket.
4. Align the lens cover tabs with the lamp housing notches and snap the lens into place.
CAUTION
Be careful not to dirty or damage the lens, lens tab, and plastic housings.
1. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, gently pry the lens cover from lamp housing. 2. Remove the socket from the assembly by turning the socket counterclockwise until the tabs on the socket align with the slots on the assembly.
If the vanity mirror lamp bulb (LED type) (1) does not operate, have your vehicle checked by a professional workshop. Kia recommends to visit an authorized Kia dealer/service partner.

Repair procedures Smart Key Smart Key Code Saving 1. Connect the DLC cable of KDS/GDS to the data link connector (16 pins) in driver side crash pad lower panel, turn the power on KDS/GDS. 2. Select the vehicle model and then do "Smart key code saving".
