Repair procedures
| Replacement |
| 1. | Remove the crankshaft damper pulley.
(Refer to Drive Belt System - "Crankshaft Damper Pulley")

| 2. | Remove the crankshaft front oil seal (A).
|
| 3. | Using the SST (09214-1R100, 09231-H1100), install a new front oil seal, apply engine oil on the edge of new oil seal.
|
| 4. | Install the crankshaft damper pulley.
(Refer to Drive Belt System - "Crankshaft Damper Pulley")

Components and components location Components 1. Front oil seal 2. Timing chain cover & oil pump assembly 3. Timing chain tensioner 4. Timing chain tensioner arm 5.
Repair procedures Removal Engine removal is not required for this procedure. • Use fender covers to avoid damaging painted surfaces.
