The AEB produces warning messages and warning alarms in accordance with the collision risk levels of followings like vehicle’s sudden braking in front or lack of vehicle to vehicle distance. Also, it controls the brakes in accordance with the collision risk levels.

The warning message appears on the LCD display with the warning alarms.

System setting The driver can activate the AEB by placing the ignition switch to the ON position and by selecting 'User Settings', 'Driving Assist', and 'Autonomous Emergency Braking System'.
In an urgent situation, the braking system enters into the ready status for prompt reaction against the driver’s depressing the brake pedal.
Repair procedures Inspection • Wrap tin foil around the end of the voltmeter test lead to prevent damaging the heater line. Apply pressure on the tin foil with hand and move the tin foil along the grid line to check for open circuits.
