| Removal |
| 1. | Switch "OFF" ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 2. | Remove the battery and battery tray.
G 1.0 MPI (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery")

| 3. | Remove the brake fluid level sensor connector.

| 4. | Remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir with a syringe.

| 5. | Disconnect the brake tube from the master cylinder by loosening the tube flare nut.
|
| 6. | Loosen the master cylinder nut (A) and then remove the master cylinder.
|
| Installation |
| 1. | Install in the reverse order of removal. |
| 2. | After installation, bleed the brake system.
