Kia Picanto (JA): Features of your vehicle / Interior light
CAUTION
Do not use the interior lights for extended periods when the engine is not running. It may cause battery discharge.
WARNING
Do not use the interior lights when driving in the dark. Accidents could happen because the view may be obscured by interior lights.
The rear window wiper and washer switch is located at the end of the wiper and washer switch lever. Turn the switch to desired position to operate the rear wiper and washer.
• (1) : Press the lamps to turn the front map lamps on and off. • (2) : - The map lamp and room lamp comes on when a door is opened.

Repair procedures Inspection Rear Wiper Motor 1.Remove the connector from the rear wiper motor. 2.Connect positive (+) battery cables to terminal 1 and negative (-) battery cables to terminal 2 respectively. 3.Check that the motor operates normally.

Repair procedures Inspection 1.With the washer motor connected to the reservoir tank, fill the reservoir tank with water. Before filling the reservoir tank with water, check the filter for foreign material or contamination.
