Failure
Occurrence: If auto light failure occurs, the head lamp must be turned
ON regardless of sun light level. This is to prevent the head lamp from
being turned OFF in case of auto light failure during night time. |



| Removal |
| 1. | Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 2. | Remove the auto light sensor (A) from main crash pad. |
| 3. | Disconnect the auto light sensor connector (B).

| Installation |
| 1. | Connect the auto light sensor connector. |
| 2. | Install the auto light sensor. |
| 3. | Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

Repair procedures Inspection • Wrap tin foil around the end of the voltmeter test lead to prevent damaging the heater line. Apply pressure on the tin foil with hand and move the tin foil along the grid line to check for open circuits.
