Opening the tailgate The tailgate is locked or unlocked when all doors are locked or unlocked with the transmitter (or smart key) or central door lock switch.
The ignition switch must be in the ON position for power windows to operate. Each door has a power window switch that controls the door's window. The driver has a power window lock switch which can block the operation of rear passenger windows.
Repair procedures Removal 1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2.Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds after loosening the screws. (Refer to Body - "Steering Column Shroud Panal") 3.Disconnect the wiper switch / washer switch connector (A).
