Manual Transaxle Shift Indicator (if equipped)

This indicator informs which gear is desired while driving to save fuel.
• Shifting up: ▲2, ▲3, ▲4, ▲5
For example
: Indicates that shifting up to
the
3rd gear is desired (currently the
shift lever is in the 2nd or 1st
gear).
When the system is not working properly, the indicator is not displayed.
Speedometer The speedometer indicates the speed of the vehicle and is calibrated in miles per hour (mph) and/or kilometers per hour (km/h). Tachometer The tachometer indicates the approximate number of engine revolutions per minute (rpm).

Repair procedures Removal • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries. • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
Repair procedures Inspection • Wrap tin foil around the end of the voltmeter test lead to prevent damaging the heater line. Apply pressure on the tin foil with hand and move the tin foil along the grid line to check for open circuits.
