| Removal and Installation |
| 1. | Remove the engine room under cover and RH side cover.
(Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "Engine Room Under Cover")

| 2. | Remove the drive belt.
(Refer to Drive Belt System - "Drive Belt")
|
| 3. | Remove the RH side front wheel.
(Refer to Suspension System - "Wheel")
|
| 4. | Remove the crankshaft damper pulley.
|
| 5. | Install in the reverse order of removal. |
| Inspection |
Repair procedures Removal and Installation 1.Remove the engine room under cover. (Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "Engine Room Under Cover") 2.
Repair procedures Inspection • Wrap tin foil around the end of the voltmeter test lead to prevent damaging the heater line. Apply pressure on the tin foil with hand and move the tin foil along the grid line to check for open circuits.
Repair procedures Smart Key Smart Key Code Saving 1. Connect the DLC cable of KDS/GDS to the data link connector (16 pins) in driver side crash pad lower panel, turn the power on KDS/GDS. 2. Select the vehicle model and then do "Smart key code saving".
