Headrest The rear seat is equipped with headrests for the occupant's safety and comfort. The headrest not only provides comfort for passengers, but also helps to protect the head and neck in the event of a collision.
WARNING For maximum restraint system protection, the seat belts must always be used whenever the car is moving. Seat belts are most effective when seatbacks are in the upright position.
Repair procedures Removal 1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2.Remove the main crash pad assembly. (Refer to Body - "Main Crash Pad Assembly") 3.Disconnect the connector of the immobilizer unit and then remove the immobilizer unit (A) after loosening a bolt.
Repair procedures Replacement 1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2.Remove the heater unit. (Refer to Heater - "Heater Unit") 3.Remove the heater core cover (A) after loosening the mounting screws. 4.Pull out the heater core (A) from the heater unit.
