Repair procedures

Replacement

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

•	Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.

•	Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1.	Remove the rear seat assembly. (Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Assembly")

2.	Remove the rear door scuff trim by using a remover.

3.	Remove the luggage board(A).

4.	Disconnect the tailgate weatherstrip.

5.	Remove the rear transverse trim (A).

Separate the rear seat belt lower anchor (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.

Tightening torque :

39.2 - 53.9 N·m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf·m, 28.8 - 39.8 lb·ft)

7.	Remove the folding bracket (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.

8.	Remove the luggage side trim (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

9.	Disconnect the luggage lamp connector (A).

10.	Remove the tailgate pillar trim (A).

11.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

•	Replace any damaged clips.

•	Once the trim has been removed replace the clip (B) with a new one.

Repair procedures Inspection 1. Connect the battery voltage and check the blower motor rotation. 2. If the blower motor voltage is not operated well, substitute with a known-good blower motor and check for proper operation. 3. If the problem is corrected, replace the blower motor.
