Repair procedures

Removal

1.	Shift the gear to "neutral".

2.	Remove the battery and battery tray. G 1.0 T-GDI KAPPA (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery")

3.	Remove the control cable from the control shaft after remove the pins (A).

Remove the control shaft complete (A).

Tightening torque :

19.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.0 - 2.7 kgf.m,14.5 - 19.5 lb-ft)

Installation

1.	Install in the reverse order of removal.

•	Install the control shaft complete after setting the neutral state.

•

Apply the sealant to the contact surface of transaxle and control shaft.

Specified sealant : Anaerobic adhesive for flange

Repair procedures Removal • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries. • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
